Ripe fruits of labor for the picking
An update on my latest works-in-progress when notable Strides have been made.
I’m trying to think of how to measure my level of productivity in relation to success. I don’t know what the numbers would amount to this week, but I’m finally seeing the fruits of my labor. That’s gotta mean I’m grinding, right?
I continued to work on the series of drawings I intend to give away at an event at the end of this month. I now have three in the books, with no limit in mind.
I think that, ideally, I want to have a minimum of five on hand. This really means that I’ll just be happy to get four under my belt.
The most difficult part has been coming up with ideas (per usual). I keep trying to think of what people would like to see in a piece of art that they want to own—and then drawing macabre things instead. Maybe someone out there has the same taste as me.
In between all of this, I’m endlessly practicing for my upcoming live online DJ show on April 27, which feels like it snuck up on me. I’m feeling better about it these days, but anything can happen when I’m live on air, unedited, and unfiltered. Let’s keep the vibes positive from here on out.
