An update on my latest works-in-progress when notable Strides have been made.
This week, I miraculously carved out some time to continue my work on the dissected wolf drawing. I wanted to at least finish the foundational anatomy before doing any crosshatching, so that’s mostly out of the way.
I cannot stress enough how badly I need to get back to consistently working on perspective. That pen you see lying across the sketchbook was what I needed to keep referencing to stay in check. Not good.
For the most part, though, I spent the week practicing my upcoming live DJ set. I have exactly 10 days ‘til showtime, and I feel like I’m in a pretty good spot. That’s despite the fact that I’ve tweaked the setlist three times and I’m still unsure of exactly how many tracks I want to include.
Maybe nothing else really matters, though, because I’m going to be wearing a cool glow-in-the-dark shirt.
