An update on my latest works-in-progress when notable Strides have been made.
I really thought I wasn’t going to have an update to post this week, given how much I had going on, but alas. As usual, art ended up playing an instrumental role in processing the horrors of the past few weeks.
I wrapped up production on a live DJ set that I’ve now scheduled for Sunday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The theme of this one is slow jams, and I picked that weekend because I figured it felt on-theme with Valentine’s Day.

If you’re interested in listening, tune in on Mixcloud at showtime or download the Mixcloud app to hear it on the go (no account necessary). This set is going to be 12 tracks deep.
If you want to listen to some of my past work, I have some recordings uploaded here.
On the drawing front, I made a bit more progress on the wolf dissection of sorts that I started. I used this print-out of clip art to get a better idea of how to go about sketching the facial features. I do that sometimes — grab a piece of clip art of something very specific I’m trying to draw. I’m not the greatest at visualizing perspective in my mind, and that’s my little cheat code.
I’m mostly done with the head for now. I’m sure I’ll go back and add some shading whenever I feel the need to lose my mind via obsessively crosshatching. Next up: bones and organs.
