Strides: March 21, 2025
The wolf has met its end.
An update on my latest works-in-progress when notable Strides have been made.
I can finally say it — the wolf dissection drawing is done!
For those who have been following along during the journey, this one was mostly an exercise to gauge where my perception skills are at. To say that I’m not pleased with them after this is … an understatement. I’d give myself a 6 out of 10, at most, and that’s when using various tools (e.g., rulers, other stationery) at my disposal.
Will I work on improving? Inevitably.
Will it be anytime soon? Probably not.
But, that’s mostly because I’m focused on the one-year anniversary of my live online DJ show. In honor of it, I’ll be going live on Sunday, April 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET. I finished producing the setlist this week, so now all I’ve got to do is practice.
This isn’t to say that all of my art is currently on the back burner (I was just toying with the batch of photos I took in Florida last month in Luminar Neo, after all).
Stay on high alert. Always.
